Review ♥ ETUDE HOUSE Collagen Eye Patch

The hardest thing to get rid off are my eyebags. I always thought that my eyebags were inherited because they were there since I was young. I already accepted the fact that they will stay on my face forever but sometimes I wanted to get rid of them.

I bought this from Etude House in Japan for 150 Japanese Yen (tax included). I can’t say if it’s cheap or not. I am quite a cheapo so I think it would be better if there’s more than 1 pair. But I checked their South Korean website which is probably the main one and the price is 500 South Korean Won (50% sale) equivalent to 50 Japanese Yen.  So this is originally cheap and became expensive overseas due to tax and shipping.

I bought this is in Japan so they put a sticker over the original one which is in Korean and English. I needed help fron Google Translate for the Korean description.

Here are their claims:
  • It is an eye patch that supplies moisture & elasticity.
  • Essence with collagen and vitamins and elastic sheets that tightens the eyes and makes them look bright.
  • Formulated with collagen to revitalize and improve appearance around eyes.
INGREDIENTS: Water, BG, Glycerin, PEG-75, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Ethanol, Grapefruit Fruit Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hyaluronic Acid Na, Retinol, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Tocopherol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polysorbate 20, EDTA-2Na, TEA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

HOW TO USE:
  1. After cleansing, apply lotion on the skin.
  2. Apply the sheet masks under the eyes.
  3. After 15-20 minutes, remove the sheets and very gently massage the essence that were stil left.

It was very easy to apply but it goes down when you move or talk frequently so rest while the patches are on.

It was comfortable and so relaxing. It felt cold but I think it is much better if I have put it in the fridge first before applying. (I might try it soon.)

I left the eye patches longer than the recommended time. I let the patches to dry before I remove.

After removing the patches, if there are still essence left, massage it very very gently because the under eye area is very sensitive.

The upper one is the before and the lower is the after. Nothing much have changed but my under eye area seems to be a little brighter than before. I guess the purpose of this eye patch is to relax stressed eyes and brighten the area a little. This is good when you weren't able to have a good sleep.
