Review ♥ BARONESS Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

I have already tried using an aloe vera soothing gel before but from other brand. I loved it and used it as a moisturizer. It was 2 to 3 years ago. But now, I decided to purchase again but from this Baroness brand for soothing my skin after peel off masks and also as moisturizer in the morning.

I bought this from CNA, a Korean shop in Philippines that sells K-Pop merchandise, accessories, and Korean cosmetics. A tub of this costs 199 Philippine Pesos (tax included). This is way more cheaper than other aloe vera soothing gels.

List of websites where you can buy this:

It is stated on the label that this has no paraben, no articificial coloring, no benzophenone, and no mineral oil which I think will be very good for those who have sensitive skin.

Everything was in Korean except for the ingredients. I couldn't read Korean characters so I went to some websites and found some information.

According to CNA's website, this product is good for treating sunburn, healing wounds, and clearing acne scars. This also supplies good amount of moisture to dehydrated skin keeping it soft and smooth. It is recommended to those who have skin problems such as sunburn, dry skin, and sensitive skin.

HOW TO USE: (according to Beauty MNL)
  • As a Moisturizer: Apply a thick layer onto skin and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • As an Eye Patch: Apply ample amount on a cotton pad and gently place over your eyes (prevents wrinkles).
  • As an After Shave: Apply like lotion after shaving (hydrates and relaxes sensitive skin)
  • As a Soothing Cream: Apply an ample amount on irritated skin to reduce inflammation, blistering, and itchiness.
  • As a Makeup Base: Mix your makeup base, BB or CC cream with soothing gel in a 2:1 ration and apply on your face.
  • As a Sunburn Treatment: Apply directly to soothe sunburn and prevent skin peeling.
  • As a Hair Treatment: Apply on hair just as you would a hair pack. Can also be used as a hair gel to keep your locks in place. Helps in hair growth, reducing dandruff, and maintaining pH of scalp.
  • As a Nail Essence: Apply an ample amount on hands as remedy against brittle and dry fingernails.

INGREDIENTS: Water, Alcohol, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Fragrance, Disodium Edta, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (99% pure, 30mg), Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate

The tub is full to the top and has a seal. A tub contains 300ml which is also the same quantity as other aloe vera soothing gels from other brands.

I really love how the aloe vera gel looks like. It is wiggly and similar to hair gels. The scent is also great. Actually it is also similar to some hair gels but I noticed that almost all of the aloe vera soothing gels, even from the other brands, have a similar scent.

Despite of being similar to a hair gel, the texture is not sticky. My skin absorbs the gel quickly and makes my skin supple. It really soothes my skin after a peel-off mask.
